{"id":117,"date":"2016-01-07T23:30:32","date_gmt":"2016-01-07T23:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.det.cl\/?p=117"},"modified":"2016-05-11T11:35:43","modified_gmt":"2016-05-11T14:35:43","slug":"gerard-unger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.det.cl\/en\/gerard-unger\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference | Gerard Unger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">One of the activities of the second version of the Diploma in Typography (2003), was the seminar &#8220;New ways for the text: typography, legibility and identity&#8221; by the dutch typographer Professor Gerard Unger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This event consisted of 3 lectures: &#8220;The vision of the designer,&#8221; in which the most important work of the professor was exhibited; &#8220;A fresh look at the readability&#8221; where Unger approached the subject from a personal point of view, and including vision from other disciplines; and &#8220;Typography and national identity,&#8221; which dealt with the relationship between form and origin of a typeface.
