BA in Design from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and currently PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. From 2008 to 2014 she was professor at the Schools of Design and Communications at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In Milan she is doing research at the Density Design Research Lab focusing on the role of visualization as a support tool within collaborative communities in the city context.

Her professional experience has focused mainly on Information Design. She has participated in various studies in the area of user information, among them the development and subsequent evaluation of the Information System to users of Santiago’s Public Transport, Transantiago.

Since 2009 she is member of the Society for News Design. Her research interests are Information Design, infographics and visual communication.
